This is a busy bus interchange. As you know, it is full of all kinds of people. You can see different colors of skin, expressions and hear different languages.

Some drivers are getting off the buses wearily after working for long hours, and some drivers are getting on the buses to begin their work with high-spirits and a smile. The buses come and go with strident sounds because the drivers starting the engines or braking the buses to a halt.

People who are waiting for the buses sit patiently on the crowded benches. Some people even perch on the railings. Some people with a lot of plastic bags in their hands, having just finished their shopping, are admiring their loot contently, while others look very tired after a day’s work. Some people are anxious as they look at their watch with a worried frown and strained their necks to see whether their buses are coming. The students are chatting with each other delightedly while they are waiting for the bus. There are also lots of children are waiting for the buses with their parents. But they look quite happy and it seems that they never feel waiting for the bus is really very boring. Some of them are playing with their beloved toys absorbedly. Some of them are running around the benches and fighting for fun. But their parents always shout impatiently at them to be quiet. As cute little babies are sleeping deeply in their mother’s warm bosons.

In addition, there are some people standing among the crowd perplexedly and not knowing where to go. They are lot beyond all doubt. In the crowd moving in a hurry to catch the buses and some people are sighing helplessly when they narrowly missed a bus.

The bus interchange is really very noisy. You can hear babies crying, the sound of plastic bags brushing against each other, the beggars begging for money and food, and the hawkers shouting to attract passengers’ attention. Besides these, you can also hear the hand phones ringing in chorus, and then people begin to talk loudly on the hand phones like a symphony.

In the bus interchange, there are many different smells floating in the air as well, such as the salty and odoriferous sweat, appetizing and delicious KFC and all kinds of perfumes.

What a busy bus interchange it is!
